With 16 “middle-aged” golfers, we’re a large group with a LOT of criteria for choosing a beach house. Oceanfront, having our own room, own bathrooms, balconies overlooking the ocean, close proximity to the airport, location to golf course North or South, plenty of parking, dual fridges on each side, etc. etc. This place hit all marks and Maureen is great to work with.

Maureen was extremely helpful with all of our needs. The house has plenty of space (we had 20 people in it and it was still very comfortable). Having a great pool and the beach right there was so wonderful! Plus it’s very close to a supermarket and restaurants if you want to go out. Highly recommend!!

We all loved the open layout of the living room and kitchen area which overlooks the ocean. It is so spacious and having two refrigerators, two stoves, two dishwashers, and two washers and dryers was a real asset.The oceanfront balcony was wonderful. The pool area and grilling area was also nice as well as the short boardwalk to the beach. Maureen is great! We would love to stay here again!

The house was very accommodating. It had everything we needed. Our ladies group loved the fact it was on the beach and each bedroom had a bath. Our ladies group met several times as a group in the living room/dining room. It was big enough for 18 ladies. We were pleased. Everything was as it was advertised.

The large open kitchen/dining/living space was great for the 14 of us. Having 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators were great. The view was spectacular! The unit was clean and the linens were there when we arrived. We would definitely use this property again.

We had the best family vacation at this home on the beach. We have 4 grown children, their companions, and three grandkids. We loved the short walk to the beach, the balconies, the ocean view all day – the pool, it was very clean, very well kept and we had an awesome time. Planning to do again next year – same time. You do not need to bring anything for the kitchen. It is all there.

Recently stayed with a group of 12 friends and had a blast (all of us 26-29 years old). We flew into Myrtle Beach airport and the house was only a short cab ride from the airport. House was clean, well maintained and had all the proper amenities. House seemed recently updated. Cannot say one negative thing about the property. Private beach access was convenient, the pool was relaxing and the views from the house were beautiful. We golfed during our stay and there were plenty of courses within a short distance. We went out each night to Broadway at the Beach (main nightlife area) and was only a 10-15 cab/uber ride each way. Maureen (property manager) was very helpful during the booking process and made sure we had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend staying here whether a guy’s getaway weekend or a family vacation. Would rent again in the future!

I recently rented this home with a group of ladies and young ladies. Ages 12-65. We all loved the house. The views were awesome even from inside. Literally just steps to the beach. Maureen, the property manger was so easy to work with and did everything in her power to make our stay a success. We were disappointed that the wi-fi would not work. Maureen was unable to get it fixed since we were there for such a short time but she tried very diligently to make it happen. I have no doubt it will be fixed ASAP. Perhaps we all needed a media break. The house was clean, well furnished, and well stocked. The quiet neighborhood was wonderful. I hope to rent this home again soon! I would also work with Maureen again! Be sure and try out Fish Monger Seafood.

House is in a great spot on the beach just south of Myrtle Beach State Park. Private beach access, great balconies and plenty of space. We rented for a guys golf weekend and ended up spending most of our time on the beach. Will definitely rent again for our next trip.

We stayed at Doctors Rx for a family reunion. The best part of this house is that it’s on the beach. No driving back & forth every day. Kids loved having a pool as it would get dark, they had the option to continue swimming. The home was roomy with comfortable beds. Two of the rooms have a ocean front veranda. The kitchen had two refrigerators which were an absolute must for feeding 19 people. The only change I would make to this house is a bigger table on the outside deck for family dinners. Someone was always stuck inside on beautiful evenings. Otherwise, it was great! Maureen was a pleasure to deal with, always answered my questions, and even responded quickly when we needed an extra sheet. Thank you for a memorable vacation!

We stayed here on a weekend golf trip. The home was better than expected. Very clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend to everyone. View of ocean was incredible.

It’s become a tradition for us to spend Thanksgiving in Myrtle Beach. This was the first time we decided to rent a home on the beach front. What a great decision! We took full advantage of the location. The views from living room, the fishing, and the ocean were all amazing. It was unseasonably warm so we were able to fish and flirt with the water. The house is large with a good number of rooms and plenty bathrooms. The home was very clean and spacious. Thank you! We had a great time!!

Doctors Orders was everything that we expected! we arrived on Monday after a 1,200-mile motorcycle ride to find this beautifully maintained clean house with an awesome beach. There were eleven persons in our party and everyone was very pleased with this property. The only thing I could say on the negative side is our stay was not long enough. I would highly recommend this rental and you could not ask for anyone better than Maureen Goodman to rent from, she is a 10+ in my book!!!!!

My family and I stayed at the Doctors Rx on Memorial Day this year and the home was beautiful and fit my family perfectly. Maureen was great she was always available when I needed her. The direct access to the beach was amazing. I enjoyed the view of the beachfront. We would definitely be looking into revisiting.

We rented both units for a golf trip in mid-October. The accommodations were better than advertised. Maureen was a pleasure to work with and always accessible for any questions we had. Highly recommend for any groups or families looking to be near restaurants and entertainment with beachfront views and access.

The house is convenietly located steps away from beach access. This was very important for our family due to having several little ones with us and lots of things to haul to the beach. We spent a portion of each day at the pool and never felt too crowded even though we shared it with other vacationers. The pool has a shallow 1 ft end (perfect for little ones) and the rest is 4ft. The pool was an absolute HIT with my two year old daughter! Beds were comfy 🙂 Maureen was QUICK to respond to a few unexpected needs. She was great to work with from the very start. Under the house parking only accomodates three mid-size cars. Not a negative, just something to think about. However, there is additional parking on the side.

Three couples shared this villa for Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed the unit and found the accommodations to be exactly as stated online. Loved the pool and the location across the street from the ocean – since nothing is in front of the villas you could probably call it ocean-front accommodations. Maureen could not have been more responsive and all of our conversations were very pleasant. She was extremely prompt in all our conversations. Even sent a person to attend to the TV before we could call her back to let her know we had figured it out. We will definitely be back soon. Would definitely recommend this to others.

This was an awesome weekend trip with great accommodations. The villa is right across the street from the beach so it’s a perfect location to enjoy the beach and sun.

I had been looking forward to finding a place at the beach for me,my three grown children,their spouses, and my two granddaughters, ages 20 months and 12 months. This beautiful house was my first choice, after viewing many others. This house was so perfect for us. We all had our own very comfortable space, loved the open area for the kids to play and be supervised, open kitchen with everything we needed. Had a great TV in the living room to watch our favorite college football game together! The pool was perfect. Although it was shared with the 3 other villas, we had it completely to ourselves during our swimming times. One end is very shallow, perfect for the babies. Just an all time great relaxing vacation. Beach access easy, just across the street, great for kids! I can’t wait to go back!!

This was our fourth stay at the villa and we had another excellent trip. Maureen is great to work with, the house is always spotless…feels like our home away from home.

This property is updated with flat screen tvs and a view of the ocean. It is across the street from the ocean and across from the beach access. The beds are comfortable – even the pillows appeared to be new. The kitchen was well stocked. Our only issue was that the pool gate was locked and we could not access the pool. I contacted the owner and she unlocked the gate on the following afternoon. I recommend this place!

Moonlighting House provided the tools and the location for a perfect spring break getaway. From the fully furnished kitchen to the great location, our group of 17 soon-to-be college graduates could not have asked for a better time. The large open spaces, private community beach and house amenities were exactly what was needed to escape the northern winter. Parking under and around the house was extremely helpful and perfectly fit our five vehicles. The view from the front porch was breathtaking and the most wonderful thing to wake up to each morning. The kitchen/living room/dining room area is very open and spacious and was a great place to hang out and be together. Our favorite part of the house? WASHING MACHINE AND DISHWASHER!

I hate to give this place a great review – I’d like to keep it a secret. Our family goes to Myrtle Beach every other year for extended family vacation. Grandparents, kids and grandkids. This is the best place we’ve been. Everyone said that they want to come back in 2019. House and beach were quiet and private. NO traffic! It was safe for the kids. Maureen was great to work with. Different gathering rooms for the teens and adults was a plus. Easy access to the beach even though it is across the street. We’ve usually been “on the beach” but this house was almost on the beach. Nice to have two washers and dryers. Check-in was a breeze with lockboxes. The area under the house was great for kids to play, family dinners or parking in the shade. I’d give it 6 stars if possible. Several of the dads had to work remotely while we were there. We had a problem with the internet, but Maureen had a repair guy in that day and it was fixed. Thanks!

This house was perfect for me and my friends. The pool was very nice, the house was clean and I love the fact that the sheets and towels came wrapped up. That ensures that they are clean. Maureen was great to work with and I will definitely be visiting again.
